Ladis: Family holidays in the winter

There are three villages on our sunny plateau: Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. Let’s speak of the first village on the plateau, Ladis.

Ladis

is the first village you arrive at on your way to the sunny plateau. It is a real mountain village on an altitude of 1,200m with merely 500 inhabitants. Ladis is as rural and romantic as one can expect from the Tyrol, but it is also unexpectedly lively and bubbly. From far in the distance one is welcomed by the Burg Laudegg castle, a castle dating back to the 13th century. In the evenings it is romantically floodlit and marks the village landscape of Ladis. Very typical here are the façade and fresco paintings that decorate many of the narrowly built houses. If you stroll through Ladis you can experience a touch of history.

Winter holidays in Ladis

Together with Serfaus and Fiss , Ladis creates the Tyrol’s ski dimension of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis – the best ski area of families in the Tyrol. The Sonnenbahn lifts swiftly and conveniently brings skiers from Ladis to Fiss, right in the ski paradise: almost 200 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes, exceptional ski kindergartens, spectacular fun parks or to say it differently: pure skiing, skiing, skiing!

Yes, Ladis is in the winter, like Fiss in the winter and Serfaus in the winter – a skier’s dream and a paradise for families. And yet it is a little bit different. Ladis is the cuddly-rustic alternative in the paradise. If you prefer it quieter and quainter, then Ladis is the perfect choice for your holidays. A dream come true for people who are looking for winter sports activities, peace and tradition. Ladis can be easily reached from Fiss. Our guests like to visit Ladis to enjoy long winter hikes in unspoilt nature.

Hotels in Ladis

Of course there are also beautiful hotels in Ladis and quite a few of them. And of course we prefer if you come to visit us in Fiss. Our Laurentius baby and children’s hotel is looking forward to welcoming you and your family.
