Hiking with children thanks to trails of experience
Hiking with children is great fun in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Children hike as a matter of course and the joint hiking turns into a pleasure for the whole family. There is only one obstacle you need to overcome. But watch out, you will be spoilt for choice. Nowhere else are there as many theme and adventure trails, natural theme trails and hiking trails for the whole family, than you will find here on the sunny plateau in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis holiday region. The mountains want to be explored. By both, the young and older mountaineers.
Pushchair-suitable hiking trails
Many of our hiking trails for the whole family are not only suitable and safe for children, but can also be accessed with pushchairs. You can access them with the cross-country-suitable pushchairs that are provided by our hotel. For all other trails you can borrow comfortable back carriers from our reception (also free of charge of course) that are convenient for the children to sit in and offer additional storage room.
the Adventure Mountains by Thomas Brezina
Who knows Tom Turbo and the Knickerbocker gang? Of course almost every child knows the exciting stories by Thomas Brezina. In Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the famous children’s and youth’s book author has created three adventure trails.
The Witch’s Trail
Here in Fiss, near the mid-station of the Schönjochbahn lift, there is the mystical entrance to the so-called Witch’s Trail. Witch Grisabella Glockenhaus brewed a magic potion. It exploded and the hut blew up and landed on its roof again. You need to see it. It’s unbelievable, isn’t it?
The Pirate’s Trail
The Adventure Mountains lead our young and older guests to a one-day excursion to Serfaus. At the Murmli water world at the Komperdell is the start of the Pirate’s Trail. There are a ghost ship and a mysterious pirate’s treasure in the middle of the forest. It arrived in a stormy night – the ship of Captain Pepper. But where did it end up?
The Explorer Trail
In a wood near the village of Ladis, in the upper Tyrolean Inntal valley, a mysterious tree house and oversized animals and plants, the origin of which is unexplainable, triggered extensive investigations. According to a first official statement, it might be the headquarters of an unknown researcher, who undertook a nature experiment there. However, there is not a single trace of the research. Who can solve this riddle?
Hiking with children: family-friendly tours
You can see: Nothing can stop you from enjoying longer tours with kids and pushchairs. All you need are the right ideas for hiking holidays to be pleasurable for the whole family. Boredom is unheard of. The right equipment, regular breaks and one or the other hut to stop at should be part of every hiking tour to make it child-appropriate.
