Our history...
... a look back
About 30 years ago, when the Laurentius opened its doors, our hotel was like many others in our area. Our hotel had 40 beds back then. Then it was mostly the own children,
who rushed to and from the reception desk, the dining halls and the rooms.
During the peak season today, there are up to 120 children, who make our baby and family hotel a lively feelgood place for the entire family.
In 1988
our Laurentius opened its doors with just 40 guest beds.
In 2000
we added four suites, renewed the dining hall and relocated our reception area.
In 2003
our “Sternenhaus” was built incl. swimming pool with water slide, saunas and steam baths.
In 2014
our Sonnenhaus was added and with it came new suites, the Laurentius water world with an outdoor pool, the hall and the bar area.
In 2018
the Mondhaus (the original building) was completely refurbished, double rooms were combined to create suites, the adult spa area – the S’Panorama and the former sauna area were converted to a family-textile-sauna.
In 2019
the doors of the Sternenhaus were renewed.
In 2022
one of our pools was rebuild into our STAR.Fun.Area. There are different interactive game instalations now, such as Multiball, ValoClimb and ValoJump. There is also an airbag to jump in.
In 2023-2024
In the period from April to June 2023 and April to June 2024, floors 2 to 7 of the Star House, a total of 30 rooms, were completely renovated. Nigel-Nagel-Neu is now presenting our star house.
We have also created a really great family sauna world. Our SPAmilia invites even the littlest ones to experience the world of saunas. A spacious sauna (biosauna) and a steam bath as well as a relaxation area invite you to relax. The late check-out area has also been redesigned.
