Ladis: family holidays in the summer
There are three village on our sunny plateau: Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. Let’s speak about the first village on the plateau, Ladis.
Ladis
is the first village you arrive at on your way to the sunny plateau. It is a real mountain village on an altitude of 1,200m with merely 500 inhabitants. Ladis is as rural and romantic as one can expect from the Tyrol, but it is also unexpectedly lively and bubbly. From far in the distance one is welcomed by the Burg Laudegg castle, a castle dating back to the 13th century. In the evenings it is romantically floodlit and marks the village landscape of Ladis. Typical are also the façade and fresco paintings that decorate many of the narrowly built houses. If you stroll through Ladis you can experience a touch of history.
Summer holidays in Ladis
Ladis has something meditative, something wonderfully dreamy. In Ladis one somehow has the feeling of being at the end of the world. The most beautiful end. At the happy end so to speak. This is particularly true for families, who find a paradise there. In Ladis families enjoy the freedom of the mountains, absolute peace, all facets of alpine beauty.
Far from the noise of the world doesn’t mean to be off the beaten track. No, no. Thanks to the free hiking shuttle bus and the Sonnenbahn (check out the Super-Sommer-Card), one gets from Ladis to Fiss and the other way round in no time. In Ladis there are fantastically dreamy walking trails, the Explorers’ Trail, the Forest Theme Trails and the Water Hiking Trail. Fantastic hiking routes that want to be explored in the summer.
Hotels in Ladis
There are of course also beautiful hotels in Ladis, quite a few of them. Of course we prefer if you come to stay with us in Fiss. Our Laurentius baby and children’s hotel is looking forward to you and your family.
